1998
Penny started her career in aerospace and defense in 1998 with Northrop Grumman, a fresh graduate supporting marketing and communications for the European operations.
2003
Penny joined the society of British Aerospace & Farnborough International supporting UK plc defence and aerospace export opportunities and launched the first international space pavilion at Farnborough International Airshow in partnership with the Space Foundation, European Space Agency (ESA), NASA, British National Space Centre (BNSC) and industry.
2006
Penny joined Leonardo, one of the top ten global defence companies developing and delivering the group marketing and communications strategy with responsibility for identifying, influencing and executing innovative campaigns to support business winning & public relations.
2021
Penny joined World Defense Show to curate the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s inaugural International Women in Defense campaign on behalf of Her Royal Highness Ambassador Reema, Saudi Arabia Ambassador to United States.
2022
Penny joined CAE, the largest civil and military training group for defence and civil to support the unified CAE one company brand strategy and execute brand awareness campaigns to support international business.
Based on the success of International Women in Defense in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Penny re-joined World Defense Show in 2022 to curate the full content program for the 2024 edition, shaping themes around leadership, technology, innovation and diversity and strengthening collaboration across the Kingdom's industrial, defence and academic ecosystem.
2024
Penny joined Defence Leaders, a global platform connecting government, military, NATO and industry leaders across all defence domains. She led strategic content and community initiatives, expanding the group's international reach and partnerships globally.
2025
Penny serves as Project Director for the United National Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources (MIM) on the Global Industry Summit 2025 and 21st UNIDO General Conference. She led content strategy and programme design for flagship initiatives on industrial partnerships, women's empowerment and youth innovation, aligning with Vision 2030 and UN Sustainable Development Goals.
